PRICING

Prices are correct at the time of listing. The costs of producing our jewellery are subject to changes in the cost of raw materials and services, in particular the price of precious metals therefore from time to time prices will change in relation to these factors. ‘Paula Aspinall’ reserves the right to review prices at any time and without explanation.

Orders will be processed at our published prices, in the case of unexpected and/or unforeseen costs you will be informed immediately and asked if you wish to proceed with your order in consideration of the increase in price. All prices are stated in British Pounds Sterling £GBP.

If you are purchasing from outside the UK, currency exchange rates and credit card charges may make have an impact on the amount billed on your credit card. Import duties or tax costs will be invoiced to you separately by your local customs authority and are completely out of our control. We are unable to advise on or control any duties or taxes that you may be subject to when purchasing from our website and recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to placing your order.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Every effort has been made by us to display products as accurately as possible using images and descriptions however we cannot be held responsible for perceived differences in colour, size or any other aspect of our jewellery which appears different in reality to that which appears on our website.

Some of our products, including but not limited to pieces in the ‘La Vie en Rose’ collection have been cast directly from natural materials, such as rose petals and using unpredictable and experimental processes such as lost wax casting. Any perceived imperfections including but not limited to holes and areas of thinness are considered by us to be an inherent part of the beauty of the piece and are not considered a fault in any way.

ORDERS & BILLING

The advertising of products on this site is an 'invitation to treat'. That means your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and ‘Paula Aspinall’. This means that prices and stock availability will not be contractually confirmed until you receive the 'confirmation of order' email despatched once credit card authorisation has been confirmed and stock levels have been checked.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us at any time and without explanation. We may, at our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit/debit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

BESPOKE

Bespoke orders should begin with a written enquiry by email which we will endeavour to respond to within 2 working days, however we cannot be responsible for delays in this response time. An initial enquiry does not mark the beginning of the production process and is not subject to cost implications.

Once the details of a bespoke order have been agreed in principle, a confirmation email will be sent to you containing full details of the bespoke process and details of the proposed order. On receipt of the confirmation email you will be required to make a payment of 50% of the total estimated cost of the finished piece. Payment of this invoice is considered contractual and in making payment you are agreeing to all aspects of the proposed design as detailed in the proposal. Once payment has been received by us, the design process will begin; cancellation of and changes to the order are no longer possible and this initial payment will become non-refundable.

Payment of the remaining balance will become due on completion and before the finished piece can be dispatched. Goods remain the property of ‘Paula Aspinall’ until full payment has been received,

When providing a quote for a bespoke piece of jewellery, we will do our best to price accurately, however sometimes the costs of producing our jewellery are subject to changes beyond our control for example the cost of raw materials and services, in particular the price of precious metals. From time to time prices will change in relation to these factors. ‘Paula Aspinall’ reserves the right to review the final price of a bespoke order at any time. In the event of unexpected and/or unforeseen costs you will be informed immediately and asked if you wish to proceed with your order at the revised price. You will be asked to approve the price increase in writing and in the event that you decide not to proceed, in this circumstance alone, your initial deposit will be returned to you via your original payment method. All prices are stated in British Pounds Sterling £GBP.

We reserve the right to cancel a bespoke order at any time during the production process without warning or explanation.

Where a bespoke order is cancelled by you, the initial deposit will be non-refundable, regardless of the stage of production.

We will take all reasonable care of any and all jewellery which is sent to us to be included in a bespoke design including but not limited to vintage and antique jewellery. However, ‘Paula Aspinall’ accepts no personal or financial responsibility for loss or damage to said jewellery during the process of production, while on the premises or in transit. We strongly advise you to fully insure your jewellery and use a trackable delivery service when sending us your jewellery. In addition, we strongly advise you to take out adequate and appropriate insurance against loss and damage for the duration of the production process. Under no circumstances should personal jewellery be sent to us without prior written agreement form us that we are willing and available to receive it.

‘Paula Aspinall’ does not accept any responsibility for any returned items lost, stolen or damaged in transit. These responsibilities are those of the customer. We recommend that UK items be sent by insured special delivery, and international items be sent using a secure and swift fully tracked service. Please note that the cost of shipping is not refundable. In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued by the same method by which you paid.

All returns remain the responsibility of the customer until received back by ‘Paula Aspinall’ together with the appropriate paperwork and packaging.

International customers wishing to return an item should note that a customs declaration form will be required on shipping. The goods will need to be clearly labelled as ‘RETURNED BRITISH GOODS’ in order to ensure that no additional customs fees are incurred on re-import to the UK. In the instance that a parcel is unlabelled or incorrectly marked and a customs fee is incurred, this will delay the returns process and the additional fees will be deducted from the refund.
